Meet Our Mentors
Connect with a fellow Pre-PA through a personalized 1-on-1 mentorship session. During this meeting, our Pre-PA counselor will do their best to answer your questions (CASPA-related or not), share resources, and offer guidance based on their own experience navigating the PA journey.​

An-Vi
Hi! My name is An-vi, and I graduated from CSULB in 2022 with a BS in Health Science. I’m passionate about public health and mentoring pre-PA students. My clinical experience includes working as a dental assistant, pediatric medical assistant, ophthalmic technician, and lead scribe. I’ve completed three PA school interviews and will be starting PA school within the next year. Through my own experience navigating the application process with academic challenges, I understand how overwhelming it can feel. I’d love to support and encourage you however I can as you work toward your goal of becoming a PA!
Meghan
Hi everyone! My name is Meghan, and I graduated from SDSU in 2025 with a BS in Biology. I currently work as a dermatology medical assistant and am completing the Pathmaker Internship at Palomar Health, where I have rotated through the Orthopedic Acute Care Unit, ICU, Pre-Op/PACU, as well as gaining experience in the Surgery Department. I am passionate about mentoring, tutoring, and supporting underserved and first-generation students as they navigate the pre-health pathway. During my time at SDSU, I was involved in several organizations focused on mentoring pre-health students and also served as a peer mentor in the Health Professions Advising Office, where I guided students in course planning, building clinical experiences, and preparing for healthcare careers. I know this process can feel intimidating and overwhelming, so I’m excited to share the insights and strategies I’ve learned throughout my own pre-PA journey to help support you along the way!

Cancellation Notice
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your 1-on-1 pre-PA counseling appointment, please review our policy below:
Cancellations: We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to once per session with at least 48 hours’ notice.
No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without notice, it will be considered a no-show. Repeated no-shows may impact your ability to book future appointments.
Emergency Situations: We get it—things come up! If there’s an emergency, please reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
