This is a student-run club at Southern California University of Health Sciences that aims to support pre-PA professionals through the application process. Are you thinking about applying to PA school and not sure where to look for support? Their mission is to offer free support for pre-PA students through the preparatory, application, and interview processes. They hope to aid in the development of future successful PA students to further the field of PA practice.

Confused on how to prepare, apply, or interview for PA school? MBKU Pre-PA Mentorship Club is an initiative led by MBKU's current PA students that aims to provide a supportive environment for those in the midst of their pre-PA school journey.

With mentee applications opening typically around September or October, aspiring PAs will have the opportunity to connect with mentors who can share their experiences and general tips. Personal mentors are also assigned in early fall to offer guidance and advice tailored to each mentee's needs.

Calling those who identify as first generation, economically/educationally disadvantaged, Black/African American, Latino/a, Indigenous, or LGBTQ AND are pursuing the PA Profession! The USC PA Pathways Program’s mission is to contribute to “enhancing and maintaining the diversity of the PA applicant pool to prepare students from diverse backgrounds to practice medicine and provide service to the medically underserved.” The program continues to do so by discussing topics such as the application process, scholarships and grants, resume, interviews, and clinical and volunteer opportunities. For reference, this year’s application cycle was from April 1 to May 15, with acceptance emails sent out during the week of June 1. This year-long program is set to begin July 27 and end May 17.
